CEM Policy & Strategy
Since the 1990s ABS has been helping organisations develop policy documents to manage their environmental impacts. Whether you're updating an existing policy or introducing a new one, ABS can assist in drafting policy statements to reflect your organisation's goals and capabilities. Carbon & Energy Management (CEM) policy documents consist of two parts:
Policy Statement: A high-level statement containing the guidelines and principles that the business is committing to. It should demonstrate explicit support from senior management and provide the framework for the delivery of energy savings.
Strategy: A more detailed document setting out specific energy management objectives and targets along with the methodology for achieving these. It should provide clear information about who is responsible for the delivery of the policy, detail of actions, and a timeframe for review.
